Wax Implosion is the homepage of Jack Dutone, a Brooklyn, NYC based DJ. Jack wanted his webpage to scream “Hipshakin’, Funky, and Frantic,” and that’s how we made it. I collaborated with Philadelphia, PA based artist Zach Ohora, and was responsible for the web design and user interface using Zach’s funky illustrations and logo design.
After the designs were finalized, I coded them into a WordPress theme with an animated jQuery based navigation. The end result is a beautiful website that gives Jack the ability to update his gig schedule, mixes, products, and blog.
